Sterkfontein grottan.
Ca 4 mil nordväst om Johannesburg ligger ett område kallat "Mänsklightetens vagga".Här har man hittat rester av ur-människor.
Området är vackert med en hel del att utforska.
Sterkfontein grottan är en av dem.
Här håller man på att gräva fram ben resterna av en människoliknande varelse som legat begravd ett antal miljoner år.
Under guldgrävar-tiden blev grottan tyvärr plundrad på de flesta stalagmiter och stalaktiten. Dessa användes för att tillverka cement!

About 40 km northwest of Johannesburg an area called Cradle of Humankind are located.
Remaines of primitive man has been found here.
The Area is beautifully situated and there are some interesting things to explore.
Sterkfontein cave is one of them.
Ongoing here is the excavation of bone fragments from a primative human. Which have been buried a number of million year.

During the gold explorer time the cave was unfortunately robbed on most of the stalagmite and stalactite. Those was used to produce cement.
